What Bunding Is and Why It Matters
A "bund" is a secondary containment vessel around a primary tank, sized to hold the contents of the primary tank if it ruptures or leaks. For chemical dosing — chlorine, sodium hydroxide, citric acid, antiscalants, biocides — bunding is the difference between a contained problem and a Workplace Health and Safety incident.
Most Australian states require bunding on chemical storage above certain thresholds under workplace and environmental regulations. Even where it isn't mandated, it's the obvious choice — secondary containment is far cheaper than soil remediation, drain contamination, or staff exposure incidents.
This tank's bunding is integrated into a single moulded assembly — no separate bund pan to position, no gap to misalign, no risk of installing the tank in the wrong place. Place the unit, plumb the connections, done.
