The Bestank-Solar 12L vertical pressure and expansion tank — the entry-size in the Solar Series, sized for residential RO systems, small pump installations, and applications where a compact pressure buffer is enough. Steel shell, Italian-made replaceable membrane, vertical format.
When 12L Is the Right Size
Pressure tank sizing isn't about "bigger is better" — it's about matching tank capacity to the cycling characteristics of your pump and the demand profile of your system.
- 12L (this tank) — residential RO systems, small booster pumps, dedicated single-outlet pressurisation. The right size when demand is intermittent and the pump is small.
- 19L — slightly larger residential and small-commercial use
- 50L — whole-house pressurisation, mid-flow installations
- 100L — commercial RO, large solar hot water, high-flow installations
Oversizing a pressure tank doesn't break anything but wastes money on capacity you won't use. Undersizing causes excessive pump cycling and motor wear. Match the tank to the demand.

Italian Membrane Design
Made in Italy EPDM / BUTYL Solar membrane, rated -20°C to 130°C. High-quality membranes with hygienic certifications approved by European Union and USA institutions. Replaceable design — when the membrane eventually fails (typically 7-15 years), swap the bladder rather than the whole tank.
Butyl membrane available on request.
