A 3/8" straight push-fit joiner — the larger-format inline splice fitting for commercial RO and high-flow installations. Same basic function as the 1/4" version but sized for 3/8" tubing.
When You Need 3/8" Instead of 1/4"
3/8" tubing is the standard for higher-flow installations:
- Commercial RO systems at 400+ GPD
- Pump-tank inlet and outlet circuits
- Whole-house filter feed lines
- Drain and reject lines on commercial RO
- Pre-filter to RO membrane connections on commercial units
Wherever 3/8" tubing is in use, you need 3/8" fittings — using 1/4" fittings with 3/8" tubing isn't an option (they won't fit), and reducing to 1/4" creates flow restriction at the worst point in the line.
Installation
- Cut both tube ends square (clean perpendicular cuts)
- Push first tube fully into one end of the joiner (engagement depth ~20-22mm)
- Push second tube fully into the other end
- Pull gently to confirm both ends are locked
No thread tape, no clamps, no tools — same Speedfit-style operation as the smaller 1/4" fittings, just sized up.
