A 3/8" tee push-fit fitting — the larger format T-junction for 3/8" tubing applications. Used in commercial RO installations, high-flow residential setups, and pump-tank circuits where the 1/4" standard residential tubing creates flow restriction.
When You Need 3/8" Instead of 1/4"
Most residential RO installations use 1/4" (6mm) tubing throughout — sufficient for the 50-75 GPD permeate flow rate of a typical home system.
3/8" tubing is used where higher flow rates matter:
- Commercial RO systems at 400+ GPD output — 1/4" creates flow restriction at this rate
- Pump-tank inlet/outlet connections — pumps typically have 3/8" NPT ports
- Mains-feed routing for whole-house filter installations
- Drain/reject lines on commercial RO with higher reject volumes
A tee fitting in 3/8" gives you the three-way junction without throttling the flow.

- Splitting pump outlet to feed both RO membrane and gauge / pressure switch
- Branching 3/8" feed between two parallel commercial systems

Installation
All three ports are 3/8" push-fit:
- Cut tube square (clean perpendicular cut)
- Push fully into each port (engagement depth slightly deeper than 1/4" — about 20-22mm)
- Pull gently to confirm lock
